Antigua...

If flying to India on my own was challenge enough only a couple of months later I last minute decided to take it one step further by going away for the whole week on my own...definitely the best decision that I have ever made. Having not been to Antigua for 3 years I was intrigued as to what may have changed or how much of the island I remembered, so when touching down at the V. C. Bird International Airport into the newly renovated terminal it felt as though I was somewhere I had never been before. From seeing the terminal in construction as almost a pile of rubble on our family holiday in 2014 it was quite surprising walking through the tunnel when getting off the plane rather than stepping off and having to walk across the runway. India...

Madness...the first word that comes to mind since visiting the bustling city of Mumbai. From the moment you step off the plane into the vast Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport to the continuous sounding of car horns while swerving down the streets. Nothing will quite prepare you for the culture and immense passion the country as a whole holds for cricket.  As someone who generally doesn't travel particularly well deciding to fly on my own for the first time to India probably was about as steep of a challenge that I could have given myself, I also quickly found out that 4 hours in the airport along with a 8 hour flight gets very very boring when I haven't got my brother to irritate...however with no one to stop me I did have a bit of a splurge in duty free. Knowing how difficult it was going to be once arriving in Mumbai having not been able to get any money exchanged before getting there its safe to say I was having a little bit of a panic as we were coming...
